Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Management Program Information

Admission to the PBDM occurs three times each year.  Application deadlines are June 15 for fall, October 15 for winter, and February 15 for spring.

Program Structure

The PBDM is Phase One of the Executive MBA program. It is an 18 credit program consisting of six core courses and one comprehensive examination.

Course Descriptions and Schedules

How Courses Work

All online MBA/PBDM courses are paced, meaning there are scheduled start and end dates, and assignment deadlines within each course. Individual course activities vary, but participation in online discussions and group projects is mandatory and forms part of the grade for every course. The learning environment is asynchronous, meaning students do not have to be online at a prescribed time.

Time Commitment

Average PBDM program completion time is 1.5 years, but students may have up to a maximum of three years to complete all requirements. Most students spend about 20 to 25 hours per week on their studies while in the program.

Graduation Requirements

To be awarded the Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Management, students must successfully complete the program as set out at the time of admission into the program, including all core courses and the comprehensive examination. Graduate students admitted through the Accelerated Admission Route are not eligible for the PBDM. Students must also complete and submit an Application for Graduation form, and meet all other regulations.

In addition, students must have paid any fees owed to the University and have returned all library resources.
