The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Architecture will allow students to build on the principles and skills attained in the BSc Arch degree. Accordingly, students will explore advances in environmental design and urban theory, as well as management theory and practice. As this is a graduate program, students are required to complete an independent project and submission of a diploma comprehensive project report.

RAIC Course Descriptions
RAIC 655 Institutional Design and Technology (3 credits)
This studio workshop will explore alternative approaches to design, building types and the fit with institutions. Focus of study will be on complex buildings, symbolism and cultural implications. The historical significance of design will be examined. The use of computer-assisted technologies and other forms of building design will be employed.
RAIC 675 Urban and Environmental Design (3 credits)
This design studio workshop will pursue issues of design of urban communities, involving the principals of urban theory, environmental concerns, and design of complex housing. The content of urban structure will be considered and placed within the context of theoretical design criteria.
RAIC 690 Design Studio Project (6 credits)
This supervised and directed project will be agreed upon between the student and supervisor. Concepts and learning achieved up to the taking of the project course will be implemented and integrated.
