University Certificate in Management Applications
Regulations effective September 1, 2012.
The University Certificate in Management Applications is designed for students who want a broad perspective in administration and administrative skills.
Enrolment Restriction
Students holding a Bachelor of Administration, Bachelor of Commerce, or a similar degree, may not enrol in the University Certificate in Management Applications.
Transfer Credit completed more than 10 years ago in the following disciplines at the senior (300/400) level will not receive credit: ACCT, MGSC, LGST, MKTG, FNCE and TAXX. If you are currently working in the field and provide evidence of work being completed, this restriction will be waived.

Recommendations
- To ensure that all prerequisites have been completed, students should register in ACCT 245, ACCT 250, or ACCT 253, and CMIS 245 before choosing other courses in the required courses list.
- Students planning to pursue the Bachelor of Commerce program should select ACCT 253 and FNCE 370.
- Students wishing to do a block transfer to the University of Lethbridge Bachelor of Management must choose CMIS 245 and FNCE 370 as required courses.
- Students wishing to do a block transfer to the University of Lethbridge Bachelor of Management must take ACCT 355 as one of their Business and Administrative Studies options.
- Students who have not taken any writing courses or who wish to improve their writing skills are advised to take ADMN 233 as one of their Business and Administrative Studies options.
