8.2 Office of the Registrar

There are various units in the Office of the Registrar that are responsible for the following student services. You can access many of AU's services through myAU.

Academic Records maintains your official records, records final grades, handles transcript requests, and issues your student ID card.

Enrolment Services admits you into the university, enrols you into your programs, receives incoming transcripts, and manages changes to your student status or program. It also processes course registrations and processes requests for course extensions and withdrawals.

Examination Services distributes, supervises, and collects your examinations. The unit also manages the exam invigilation network list.

Financial Aid advisors will guide you through the process of applying for funding and registering in courses.

Student Awards will provide you with information about awards, bursaries, and scholarships.

Transfer Credit and Evaluation Services processes your request to transfer credit to Athabasca University from another institution.
