University Certificate in Administration


Regulations closed for new admissions as of September 1, 2008

The University Certificate in Administration is designed for students who want a broad perspective in administration and to develop administrative skills. Students holding a Bachelor of Administration, Bachelor of Commerce, or a similar degree, may not enrol in the University Certificate in Administration. Students complete the program regulations in effect at the time of their enrolment. Counselling Services offers an assessment website, "Mapping Your Future: Your Career and Athabasca University." Athabasca University has also developed program learning outcomes that describe the career options that may be available to you upon graduating.

1.	To ensure that all prerequisites have been completed, students should register in ACCT 245, ACCT 250, or ACCT 253, ADMN 232, and MATH 215, MATH 216, or MGSC 301 before choosing other courses in the list.
2.	Students planning to pursue the Bachelor of Commerce program should select ACCT 253 and FNCE 370.
