9.3 On-site Grouped Study Courses

Athabasca University collaborates with partner institutions to offer its courses on site at the partner institutions' campuses.These courses are delivered by grouped study, the University's term for traditional classroom study. Some grouped study courses may include videoconference, teleconference, or online components. In some cases, you can complete your entire Athabasca University degree on site at the partner institution.

9.3.1 Blue Quills First Nations College

Athabasca University and Blue Quills First Nations College (St. Paul, Alberta) are collaborating to provide university credit and degree completion opportunities in the community. Phone the College at 888.645.4455 or contact through e-mail.

 

 
9.3.2 Grande Prairie Regional College

Athabasca University and Grande Prairie Regional College (Grande Prairie, Alberta) are collaborating to provide courses on site at the College for the following University degrees:

• Bachelor of Arts

• Bachelor of Commerce

• Bachelor of Management

Many of the courses in these degrees are completed at the College. The courses that are not available on campus may be completed through Athabasca University's online and distance learning methods. 9.3.3 MacEwan College

Athabasca University and MacEwan College (Edmonton, Alberta) are collaborating to provide the Bachelor of Professional Arts (Criminal Justice) degree on site at the College. Students can complete all courses for this degree at the College. They may also complete the degree by taking a combination of classroom courses at the College and online and distance courses through Athabasca University. 9.3.4 Lethbridge Community College

Athabasca University and Lethbridge Community College (Lethbridge, Alberta) are collaborating to provide courses on site at the College for the following Athabasca University degrees:

• Bachelor of Management

• Bachelor of Professional Arts Communication Studies, Criminal Justice, and Human Services Majors

All courses for the Management and Criminal Justice degrees can be completed at the College.You also have the option of completing these degrees by taking a combination of classroom courses at the College and online and distance courses through Athabasca University. Some courses in the Communication Studies and Human Services degrees are available at the College.

To complete these degrees, you will need to take a combination of classroom courses at the College and online and distance courses through Athabasca University. 9.3.5 Medicine Hat College

Athabasca University and Medicine Hat College (Medicine Hat, Alberta) are collaborating to provide courses on site at the College for the following Athabasca University degrees:

• Bachelor of Management

• Bachelor of Professional Arts Criminal Justice Major

You can complete all courses for the Criminal Justice degree, and most, if not all courses for the Management degree, at the College. You also have the option of completing these degrees by taking a combination of classroom courses at the College and online and distance courses through Athabasca University. 9.3.6 Mount Royal College

Athabasca University and Mount Royal College (Calgary, Alberta) are collaborating to provide the following degrees on site at the College:

• Bachelor of Arts: English, History, Psychology Majors: Athabasca University at Mount Royal College

• Bachelor of Nursing: Athabasca University at Mount Royal College

All courses for these degrees can be completed at the College. You also have the option of completing these degrees by taking a combination of classroom courses at the College and online and distance courses through Athabasca University.

9.3.7 Pembina Educational Consortium

Athabasca University and the Pembina Educational Consortium (Drayton Valley, Alberta) are collaborating to provide University courses on site at the Consortium. Phone 780.542.5400.

 

 
9.3.8 Red Deer College

Athabasca University and Red Deer College ( Red Deer, Alberta ) are collaborating to provide the Bachelor of Management degree on site at the College. Most of the courses in this degree can be completed at the College. If some courses are not available on campus, you may complete them through the University's online and distance learning methods. 9.3.9 Yellowhead Tribal College
