7.6 Supplemental Examinations

If you are not satisfied with your initial examination mark, you may write one supplemental examination for each examination written. This option does not apply to challenge courses. Your supplemental examination must be written within one month of submitting your Examination Request Form.

If you choose to request and write a supplemental examination, your request must be received no earlier than two weeks and no later than three months after writing the original examination. Your final mark will be the higher of the two marks received.

If the supplemental examination is requested and/or written after the course contract end date, you are not required to apply for a course extension.

Please ensure that the correct fee accompanies your form (to access forms, login to myAU), either by mail or online. Submitting your request without the appropriate fee will result in delays. Supplemental examinations do not apply to assignments or quizzes. If the supplemental examination is not written, it cannot be requested again and there is no refund.
