8.2. Office of the Registrar

Admissions and Evaluation Services admits students to the University, enrols them in specific undergraduate programs; evaluates transfer credit; monitors courses for application to undergraduate degree, university certificates, or diploma programs; provides information about graduation and eligibility to convocate; and informs students of their responsibilities as convocation day approaches.

Registration Services processes course registrations, withdrawals, extensions, financial aid applications, etc. Because of the need for signatures on these documents, students cannot request these services by e-mail.

Academic Records processes changes in student information, records final grades in students' academic records, ensures final grades are sent to students, and processes requests for transcripts.

Examination Services reviews and approves invigilation centres, processes exam requests, distributes exams, and supervises exams for Athabasca University students.
