7.8. Supplemental Exams – All Courses

If you are not satisfied with an exam mark, you are allowed to take one supplemental exam for each written exam. Refer to Section 5.5. Supplemental Exam Fee.

Supplemental exam regulations do not apply to Challenge exams. For grouped study and collaborative courses these regulations may not apply. Please consult with your local advisor.

Supplemental exams must be written within one month of their request. Supplemental exams must be requested no earlier than two weeks, and no later than three months (90 days), after writing the original exam.

Students are not required to apply for a course extension if the supplemental exam is requested and/or written after the course contract date.

After writing your supplemental exam, your final grade will be the higher of the grades received on the supplemental or original exam. Supplemental exams do not apply to assignments, quizzes, or tests. If the supplemental exam is not written, it cannot be requested again and there is no refund.
