Learning Resources Undamaged.
If the learning resources package is completely unmarked,
able to be issued to another student, and received by the University
within 30 days of the processing of a refundable withdrawal request,
you will receive a refund of tuition paid less the withdrawal
processing fee (e.g., $578 - $75 = $503).
Return the Withdrawal Request Form and the learning resources

Refund 2.
Learning Resources Damaged, Marked, or Missing.
If the learning resources package has been damaged,
marked, or some materials are missing, you will have both
the withdrawal processing fee and the learning resources fee deducted
from your course tuition (e.g., $578 - $75 - $160 = $343).
The learning resources will remain your property
and should not be returned.

Late Withdrawals
If you withdraw from a course more than 30
days after the course start date, you are not eligible for a refund.
If the learning resources are returned to Athabasca University after
the 30-day period by students withdrawing from a course and hoping
to obtain a refund, the resources will be retained by Athabasca
University, and a refund will not be issued.
Money paid by a student or sponsor cannot be held
indefinitely by Athabasca University. Credit balances on a student's
account, except for students who receive financial assistance from
the Alberta Student Finance Board (or another provincial program),
will be refunded to the student or credited to the sponsor.
