5.4. Challenge for Credit Fee

The challenge for credit process allows students to demonstrate that they have acquired a command of the general subject matter including intellectual or other skills that would normally be found in a university-level course. Refer to Section 6.3.3. Challenge for Credit Option or the Registry Web site for details.

Students have the option to challenge a course without purchasing the course package (learning resources). Those students who require the course package must submit $160 in addition to the fees below. Challenge for Credit fees are non-refundable, however, students may return the learning resources within 30 days of completing the challenge, and receive a refund of that portion of their fees only, provided the learning resources package is completely unmarked and able to be issued to another student. Courses that comprise non-refundable items such as online course materials access, CDs etc., are not eligible for refund.
