Building
on the Bachelor of Commerce program is Athabasca University’s
e-Commerce major. This program will use online enhancements to
emulate the e-commerce business environment. The major core and
electives will
be delivered by a combination of e-Classes® and individualized-study
course delivery methods.

Enrolment Restriction
Students holding a degree in administration,
business, commerce or management; or a degree with a major, concentration,
or any equivalency programs from Athabasca University or another
university will not be accepted
into the Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting Major program.
Enrolment Requirement
To gain entrance to the e-Commerce major, students must complete
ACCT
253 Introductory Financial Accounting (or equivalent) and ADMN
232 Administrative Principles (or equivalent), each with a grade
of 1.7 (60 percent) or more. Provisional program entrance will be
allowed until these requirements are met.
Students are recommended to take ADMN
233 early in their program.
