Athabasca University delivers degree programs, university certificate programs, and courses to students throughout a variety of educational institutions and associations. In some cases, these courses and programs are offered on site by paced delivery (group study that brings students together). 13.1. Cooperating Institutions and Agencies
Athabasca University works in cooperation with post-secondary institutions, educational agencies and professional associations throughout Canada. These institutions and organizations enable Athabasca University students to have improved access to Athabasca University courses and programs.

Students may take courses from either institute toward their B.G.S., Applied Studies degree. Athabasca University is a member of Alberta’s educational consortia. Each consortium is funded
by Alberta Advanced Education and Career Development and is made up of post-secondary institutions that cooperate to deliver a wide range of programs. The offices of each consortium are open to the public and provide information about Athabasca University courses and programs, and may provide exam supervision, and use of audio-visual equipment and computer terminals. Students should check with the nearest consortium office to find out what services are provided.
