Official Transcripts:

Transcripts from ALL institutions, including Athabasca University, must be issued directly to you and then included in the hardcopy application materials package. To be considered official, transcripts must be received in envelopes that have been sealed and endorsed by the issuing institution. It is your responsibility to ensure official, sealed transcripts arrive prior to the application deadline.

Note: Applicants with international credentials, may also need to include the following documents in their hardcopy application materials package:

  1. Transcript Translation: Applicants submitting any official documents (e.g., transcripts) in a language other than English or French must provide an official translation of such documents. If the credential being submitted was earned outside Canada or the US, documentation attesting to its equivalence to a Canadian baccalaureate degree is required. Such documentation is obtained from the following sources:

  2. Copy of Permanent Resident Documentation or Study Authorization/Permit (for applicants without Canadian citizenship)

Additional Required Documents (Master of Nursing: Nurse Practitioner and Post-Masters Diploma: Nurse Practitioner ONLY)

You must provide the following documents in your Hardcopy Application Package:

  1. Photocopy of Nursing Registration and Copy of current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate
  2. Photocopy of Nursing Practitioner (NP) license if available.
  3. Letter of Verification (from employer or College of Registered Nurses) confirming 4500 hours of recent clinical practice as a Registered Nurse.
